Le premier b\u00e2timent que nous rencontrons est le stade de football am\u00e9ricain. Sa structure en b\u00e9ton arm\u00e9 peut faire penser aux constructions des ann\u00e9es 1970-1980. Ce stade a pourtant \u00e9t\u00e9 construit en 1903. Seules quelques familles d&rsquo;\u00e9tudiants ou de futures \u00e9tudiants visitent les lieux. Proche de la Charles River se trouve le c\u0153ur de l&rsquo;\u00e9cole de commerce d&rsquo;Harvard, la Baker Library. Le clocher de cette biblioth\u00e8que a longtemps abrit\u00e9 une cloche provenant du monast\u00e8re Dalinov en Russie. Cette cloche avait \u00e9t\u00e9 achet\u00e9 avec 17 autres par un industriel et diplomate am\u00e9ricain pendant la p\u00e9riode stalinienne. Le diplomate craignait qu&rsquo;elles ne soient fondues pour en faire des munitions. Il les avait ensuite donn\u00e9es \u00e0 l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 d&rsquo;Harvard. Nous choisissons la terrasse du restaurant Grendel&rsquo;s Den pour le plat et une coupe de glace de chez Amorino pour le dessert.
